SAP Note 12191 - Not all BRARCHIVE logs displayed in Transaction DB12

Symptom:

Not all the BRARCHIVE logs are displayed in Transaction DB12.

Cause and prerequisites

BRARCHIVE writes the information about the current backup into tables SDBAH/SDBAD. If the database is closed during the backup, BRARCHIVE cannot write to the table. It does not attempt to start up the database for this.

Solution
BRARCHIVE records the records that have to be written to SDBAH/SDBAD. You only need to call BRARCHIVE with "brarchive -q" while the database is active. The missing entries in SDBAH/SDBAD are then written later.
Afterwards the display in Transaction DB12 is updated.

Key word: BRARCHIVE
